About the Business
If you live in or around Watford, Hertfordshire, you'll probably remember the old CLEMENTS Department store. CLEMENTS opened in 1898 and finally closed its doors in 2004. A traditional store, with old-fashioned values, CLEMENTS was held in high regard in the local community. But all is not lost! The name of CLEMENTS returned to the original CLEMENTS building, which was then a T J HUGHES discount store. Now T J Hughes has gone and so CLEMENTS moved, again, this time to the Ground Floor and the 1st Floor of Charter Place, just outside the entrance to the Harlequin. 30 months later and with Charter Place being re-developed CLEMENTS had to move yet again! This time they moved back to the Lower Ground Floor in the original CLEMENTS building! There you will find CLEMENTS HOME FURNISHINGS and a fabulous range of quality carpets, beds and furniture in our massive showroom. It's not just a name either, CLEMENTS is owned and run by Directors Clive and Alan Brooks.
