About the Business
Door To Floor Carpets is a family business, and although it was initially started by Cathy McDermott her husband Paddy has gone from a consulting role to a full time partner in the business. Paddy has almost twenty years experience in the carpet / flooring industry and left his job of 8 years as a floor covering estimator with John Lewis to join Cathy in the business. Door To Floor Carpets was born through an increasing awareness that people were unable to take time off work or fit into the time slots given by stores for their estimator to call. Others may find it difficult to leave home or have difficulty getting to a store. Door To Floor provides a FREE bespoke service where the call would be at a time to suit the customer including evenings and weekends. We provide our service in Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife and their surrounding areas. We offer a stress free home service to suit our customer's needs and deliver the kind of service that we ourselves would expect to receive.
