No ordinary flooring company, Solid Floor is characterised by creativity, commitment and craftsmanship. Founded in 1994 by Dutch designer and entrepreneur Eelke Jan Bles, we specialise in bespoke flooring, offering quality timber, carpet and rugs, all custom-made to the most exacting specifications. With showrooms located in both Marylebone and Notting Hill, we have established a solid reputation as London's premier flooring specialist.
Rob joined Solid Floor in 2003. Today, as the company's co-owner, he is responsible for the day-to-day running of the showrooms, and has played a key role in developing and expanding our carpet range. Like Eelke, he takes a hands-on approach, collaborating closely with our client base of architects and interior designers.
